Summary of position:
A Clinical Educator in the Clinical Development Department is a full-time, remote position. This position serves as an educational resource to our client practitioners and internal teams. Directly responsible for conducting one-on-one phone consultations with practitioners to assist in the interpretation and application of the test results. This position will also assist in the planning, development and delivery of medical education content via multiple channels.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Clinical Educational Consultations
- Provides expert clinical guidance, support and training for all Mosaic’s tests to client practitioners via one-on-one phone consultations.
- Serves as VOC by providing practitioner feedback related to services provided and desired product enhancements.
- Balances the needs of practitioner customers with HIPAA and compliance requirements.
Education Support
- Support Sales with Mosaic hosted direct client educational requests.
- Answer clinical questions and escalations in support of Sales & Customer Service staff.
- Leverage key clinical messaging to assist in the creation of educational content and presentations to a variety of audiences both clinical and nonclinical, across a myriad of platforms including and not limited to webinars, social media, blogs, podcasts, and in person presentations.
Product and Content
- Supports key clinical message development by assisting with literature reviews and other processes related to message development.
- Assist with editorial review of marketing promotional materials as needed.
- Support the creation and delivery of clinically focused sales product training materials.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to apply principles of logic and scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Subject matter expertise in functional/integrative medicine; knowledge of natural therapeutics; laboratory medicine; and human physiology and pathophysiology
- Experience in literature review and curation
- Able to draft research summaries
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a passion for making a difference in healthcare
Education and Experience:
This position requires an advanced degree in clinical health sciences (PA, FNP, CCN, ND, DC, RN, PhD) or equivalent; and at least 3 years related experience and/or training. Training in the nutritional and/or integrative medical fields, as well as direct experience in patient care and teaching, are highly recommended and valued.
Candidates must have the ability to organize information in a coherent and easily accessible way via computer and other office systems. Knowledge and experience with software programs such as Microsoft Office – including Word, PowerPoint and Excel are a must.
