Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our telehealth team.

Beyond being a unique remote work-from-home opportunity, this role provides the chance to serve patients by proactively monitoring, educating, and coaching patients on a plan for better health. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and customer satisfaction in our telehealth environment. As an escalation point, you will provide expert medical advice, guidance, and support to customers and team members, resolving complex issues and ensuring a seamless telehealth experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Expertise: Utilize your clinical knowledge and expertise to assess and address the medical needs of patients through telehealth interactions. Provide accurate and evidence-based guidance to patients and customer service representatives regarding medical conditions, treatment options, medication information, and symptom management.
  • Escalation Support: Serve as the go-to resource for customer service representatives when complex medical or clinical issues arise. Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns by offering insight, direction, and guidance based on best practices and medical standards.
  • Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients’ needs and rights, ensuring that they receive appropriate and timely medical advice and care. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans, referrals, and follow-up appointments as necessary.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze and assess unique patient situations, considering medical history, symptoms, and available information to make informed decisions and recommendations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop solutions for challenging cases.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all telehealth interactions, assessments, recommendations, and interventions in accordance with organizational guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in telehealth practices, medical treatments, and relevant regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your clinical and customer service skills.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of telehealth services by providing valuable feedback on processes, workflows, and customer interactions. Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with the management team to implement changes.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with customer service representatives to ensure exceptional patient experiences. Address patient concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
  • A Compact License is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience in diverse healthcare settings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telehealth nurse setting is required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing.

Preferred:

  • Experience in customer service or patient support roles.
  • Familiarity with medical contact center operations.
  • Licenses in CA – TX are strongly preferred.

 

 

Working hours for this role will be determined during the interview and will fall within the team’s operating window of 11 AM to 10 PM EST.
