Position Summary

 

This is a fully telework role.

Supervisor of a Dedicated Team in Healthcare Business Solutions.

The Clinical Supervisor role includes (but is not limited to):
– Overseeing the implementation of healthcare management services for assigned functional area Implementing clinical policies & procedures in accordance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. NCQA, state and Federal standards and mandates as applicable)
– Serving as a content model expert and mentor to the team regarding practice standards, quality of interventions, problem resolution and critical thinking
– Ensuring implementation and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address the member’s needs across the continuum of care.

– Developing, initiating, monitoring, and communicating performance expectations
– Consistently demonstrating the ability to serve as a model change agent and leading change efforts
– Creating a positive work environment by acknowledging team contributions, soliciting input, and offering personal assistance, when needed
– Being accountable for maintaining compliance with policies and procedures and implements them at the employee level

-Participation and preparation for any requested clinical audits
Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to work Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the timezone of residence. Flexibility with extended hours for PST may be required. Evening shift coverage rotation up to 9:00pm EST may be needed to meet business needs. Saturday coverage online/on-call 1-2 times a quarter may be required.
  • Active unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
  • 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

  • Case management and/or utilization review experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Certified Case Manager
  • Advanced problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Advanced growth mindset skills (agility and developing yourself and others).
  • Advanced skills in execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting).
  • Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate option.

Education

  • Associates Degree in Nursing Required
  • BSN preferred

 

 

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

 

$80,340.00 – $173,000.00

 

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
