JOB DESCRIPTION

The Telehealth Clinical Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion. They possess domain-specific knowledge of VA telehealth programs and assists with documentation review, planning, program-specific testing, and evaluation, and provides subject matter expertise. Incumbents work under the direction of their VHA OCC Telehealth lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understands and demonstrates the capabilities and use of new and existing Telehealth platforms.
  • Provides planning and evaluation support for OCC Telehealth lead.
  • Provides meeting facilitation, presentation development, and action item tracking.
  • Attends/conducts meetings and training classes as needed.
  • Supports the release, implementation, and deployment of telehealth technologies and applications.
  • Utilizes SME knowledge and understanding to support operational goals and targets.
  • Assists with enhancing and improving existing training, documentation, and operational guidance through analysis of existing training and operational guides and advancements of technology and needs.
  • Assists with the development of training manuals by identifying and describing information needs; using desktop publishing; submitting initial versions for review; revising and editing final copy.
  • Performs systematic reviews of clinical programs and provides updates and reports as required.
  • Assists with TMP training and testing as required.
  • Supports the evaluation and sustainment of new Telehealth technologies, equipment, applications, and clinical processes.
  • Leads or participates in cross-functional projects, identifying and working on tasks and assignments as instructed by VA OCC Telehealth lead.
  • Managing a wide variety of projects across the portfolio.
  • Interacting and working directly with VHA OCC Leadership.
  • Autonomous working environment, manage your own schedule.
  • Multiple areas of expertise and review required.
  • Utilizes SME knowledge and understanding to support operational goals and targets.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required + 5 years experience supporting clinical operations
  • RN, PT, OT, ST, SW,MD or Psychologist licensure required.
  • Preferred experience with VA Video Connect (VVC), Virtual Care Manager (VCM), Telehealth Scheduling Platform (TMP), VistA, CPRS.
  • Systems thinker with strong organizational skills, problem solving and decision-making skills, who can pull all the pieces together to meet deadline timely.
  • Strong Clinical Practice Facilitation and program/project management skills.
  • Ability to utilize numerous and creative methods for explaining and collaborating with health care professionals to improve and enhance virtual care/mobile health adoption.
  • Ability to research data sites, analyze problems and program requirements, and present findings with effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to ensures accurate and timely submission of various statistical and workload reports.
  • Experience promoting and developing innovative and creative approaches to patient care delivery.
  • Ability to manage planned and unplanned changes reflectively, creating an atmosphere of confidence and competence.
