POSITION SUMMARY:
This position serves a key member of the clinical team and assumes leadership, planning, and executing quality processes in assigned centers to promote patient safety; compliance with applicable standards for the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid, state regulations, while demonstrating exceptional customer service.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement corporate policies and procedures at the center level
- Maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of the implementation of Federal and State regulations and standards of ASC accrediting organizations (AAAHC and Joint Commission)
- Pursue updated knowledge to maintain subject matter expertise related to all areas of clinical management: risk, infection control, safety, quality, regulatory changes, accreditation updates, and the like
- Support assigned ASCs in maintaining a constant state of survey readiness
- Monitor, audit, and evaluate compliance with Federal and State regulations, and the quality of the clinical services provided at assigned ASCs by conducting on-site assessments and developing action plans to address areas for improvement
- Support implementation of action plans and quality initiatives
- Assist with AHRQ/HARP and all CMS reporting requirements and support the centers with submitting the required data
- Provide education to the ASC’s leaders, employees, and LIPs on regulatory and accreditation standards to support continual survey readiness
- Available to the assigned ASCs for questions and assistance when needed
- Provide a Clinical Quality report for Center Board meetings
- Participate by presenting topics at company-wide leadership conferences such as the Regent Surgical Health Annual Director of Nursing Conference and other educational conferences as assigned
- Maintain and support ongoing communication with VP of Clinical Operations related to clinical, quality, and risk management activities, corporate initiatives, trends, problems, surveys, letters of deficiency and plans of correction
- Develop educational material, webinars, and in-service as requested
- Work as part of the Regent Surgical Health clinical team and assumes additional responsibilities and projects as they develop
- 50-70 % travel
- Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines utilizing excellent organizational skills
- Computer skills required including proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), as well as preferred knowledge with HST
OSHA work duty requirements:
- Read and follow all health and safety postings
- Follow safe work practices
- Help reduce work hazards
- Report all occupational injuries and illnesses
- Cooperate during an OSHA inspection
- Exercise rights under the OSH Act in a responsible manner
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (required) in Nursing from an accredited college or university (education may be substituted with 15 or more years of nursing experience)
- Current license as Registered Nurse required
- Three to five (3-5) years Ambulatory Surgery Center experience is required
- Three to five (3-5) years in an ASC leadership position is required
- Experience with multi-specialties preferred
- Nursing certification-preferred

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
