Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Remote

• NP’s must have the ability to practice independently in one of the following states WA, NY, MN, VA, IA, and AZ
• Currently unable to consider candidates in the following states – AL, GA, MO, OK, SC, and TN

License Requirements:

• Must be Licensed in a Full Practice Authority State – WA, NY, MN, VA, IA, and AZ
• Must have an FNP license

Salary Details:

• Base Salary- $43.75/hr (guarantees you are seeing at least 3 patients per hour)
• Target Per Visit Compensation – $15 (anything above 3 patients per hour)

Available Shifts – we have Part Time and Full-Time opportunities available working between 20-40 hours a week

• Hours are between 4am-5pm PST
• Need flexibility with working every other weekend

Contract Duration – January -March (contract dates will vary depending on business and patient flow)

Equipment: Must provide own equipment (computer/laptop)

General Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing urgent care services remotely. In this role, you will leverage telehealth technology to assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions, ensuring timely and effective care for our patients for flu and cold season.

Essential Functions:

• Function independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment, and adjust treatment if necessary
• Document medical information of patients and review patient history at each visit
• Prescribe medications
• Evaluate response to treatments and medications
• Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate
• Counsel and educate patients
• Provide preventative care
• Manage pediatric and adult patients for both acute and chronic conditions
• Create patient care plans and contribute to existing care plans
• Actively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends
• Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results and prescription clarifications
• Scheduling flexibility to include evenings and weekends

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care (preferred) or urgent care required
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and certification.
• Board certified – Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner who also maintains an active RN license
• Ability to obtain both RN and NP licensure in additional states
• Experience/Comfortable with providing care for all ages, newborn to adult populations
• Demonstrate flexibility
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
