Remote HEDIS Senior Clinical Quality Consultant and Trainer

Location: Remote (work from home)

Job Overview We are seeking a qualified candidate to work as a HEDIS Senior Clinical Quality Consultant and trainer to perform project management, second level quality over-reads and training on the HEDIS measures. This is a temporary contract position scheduled to last from October 2, 2023 to May 4, 2024.

Who we are Guardian Angel Consulting is a medical record abstraction vendor formed in 2005 with the goal of providing our assistance to help with the demands of Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS).

Job Responsibilities

• Update HEDIS training materials
• Conduct HEDIS Hybrid Training
• Project Management including client support, reviewing discrepancy log, weekly meetings, and responding to emails.
• Answer questions from Clinical Quality Consultants and do second level over-reads.
• Conduct Rater to Standard and Inter-Rater Reliability Testing
• Perform quality over-reads
• Access and perform IRR in vendor software
• Review findings with abstractors
• Provide retraining for abstractors on any quality issues
• Assist with answering abstractors questions
• Participate in weekly client calls
• Monitor Completion reports and reassign abstractions if necessary

Experience and Qualifications:

• Is an RN,NP,PA or LPN with a current license or certification
• Has a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• At least 4 years of HEDIS experience abstracting and performing over-reads.
• Experience training on the HEDIS measures.
• Must have experience managing HEDIS projects
• Can work at least 32 hours per week during typical business hours, 40 hours preferred
• Has strong computer skills with high-speed internet access and unlimited long distance service
• Is available to perform contract work from October 2, 2023 to May 4, 2024
• Maintain compliance with all HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
