Remote Manager, Employee Health Services (RN, PA-C) – KY, IN, IL

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for Employee Health Services APRN/PA Manager to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY, IN, IL.

The Employee Health Services Manager will administer the employment related health services on behalf of Baptist Health System, collaborating with the Employee Health Services (EHS) program leaders and leadership across the health system to manage the program services and each worker covered within the program, as per the service model and protocols of the program.

Oversees specific program components or functions across the entire health system including the associated staff providing the designated service lines, with direct responsibility for planning and development, implementation, thorough communication across the health system, creation and maintenance of policy and protocols, ensuring accurate documentation of data within the electronic database, performing data analysis, and facilitating timely reporting, troubleshooting various issues that arise, staff training and education, follow-up of outcomes, and resolution of issues.

Serves as subject matter resource for assigned areas of responsibility in accordance with federal or state regulations and with consideration of guidance specific to healthcare personnel (HCP) regarding occupational risks, immunity measures, health clearance and physicals, medical and hazard surveillance, OSHA medical clearance and fit testing, evaluation of tuberculosis and treatment of latent TB infection, worker’s compensation services, post-exposure incident, illness, and exposure management, including post-exposure contact studies, testing, and/or treating, coordination of modified duty, regulatory reporting, documenting OSHA cases, health clearance to work within the healthcare setting following acute illness, and acute care services.

Will cover for other program leaders during absences. May participate in after-hours call on behalf of the program and may assist to coordinate and carry out services throughout the organization, such as vaccination campaigns and/or fit testing blitz.

Position is largely non-clinical office based or work from home with periodic travel to EHS clinics throughout the region and occasional travel to EHS clinics throughout Indiana and Kentucky.
Position is posted for APRN / PA, however, will consider qualified RN with relevant leadership and Employee Health or Occupational Health experience.

Requirements

Requires Master’s degree with 2 years experience, current certification for nurse practitioner (AANP or ANCC) or physician assistant (NCCPA), current licensure for nurse practitioner or physician assistant within the states of Indiana and Kentucky, Basic life support if working within EHS clinics.
