Position Summary:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Better U plays an integral role in providing comprehensive mental health care services. Conducting psychiatric assessments, prescribing psychedelic therapies including Spravato, and offering therapeutic interventions while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements, their dedication contributes to the success of our program and the well-being of our patients.

Qualifications and Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • State licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Arkansas
  • Desire to be an integral part of a rapidly growing team dedicated to transforming the mental health care system
  • Ability to rapidly establish deep rapport with a diverse range of individuals. Authentic, non-judgmental, focused presence, intuitive sensitivity, empathetic while maintaining supportive structure, nuanced self-discovery, warmth, and respect/appreciation for different life trajectories
  • Experience with adversity and an active commitment to personal growth
  • Understanding of the physical and psychological effects of psychedelics
  • Experience with Spravato treatment protocols
  • Deep compassion and empathy for others
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and a background in working with confidential information
  • A willingness to learn and a growth mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and tools to work remotely
  • Passion for alternative healing methods
  • Experience with weight loss and integrative medicine

Requirements:

  • A high degree of empathy and understanding of human behavior.
  • One year of experience providing services as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience administering Spravato treatments and understanding its integration into patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Active DEA license
