Full job description

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner licensed in Hawaii.

Location: Remote.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team for 10 hours per week.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients to determine the appropriate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management and prescribe psychotropic medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other mental health providers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  • Monitor and review patient progress through regular follow-up sessions, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping with symptoms.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, developments, and best practices in psychiatry, attending conferences and engaging in continuous professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other related information in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the practice of psychiatry and maintain a high level of professional and ethical conduct.


  • Advanced Practice Nursing degree (NP or APRN) from an accredited school.
  • Board certification.
  • Valid and unrestricted license to practice in Hawaii.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience in medication management.
  • Proficiency in providing evidence-based psychotherapy interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a commitment to promoting their well-being and recovery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $120.00 – $155.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
