About The Role

Mochi Health is seeking experienced, independent Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about obesity medicine and long-term patient care. As a rapidly scaling startup expanding across multiple states, we provide flexible scheduling, malpractice coverage, and structured training based on our protocols. This role is ideal for NPs looking to practice evidence-based obesity medicine in a telemedicine-first environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct virtual consultations to support patients managing obesity and metabolic health conditions.
  • Prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications and other obesity treatments.
  • Work autonomously across multiple states while delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Obtain credentialing with insurers to expand patient access.
  • Utilize our custom-built EMR and obesity-specific protocols to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated support team, including lab testing, genetic counseling, and prior authorization specialists.
  • Stay updated on obesity medicine advancements through our optional monthly academic lecture series.

Who You Are

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) with at least 3 years of experience in obesity medicine and/or endocrinology.
  • Licensed to autonomously practice in at least two states.
  • Willing to obtain credentialing with insurers.
  • 2+ years of experience prescribing GLP-1 medications.
  • 1+ year of telemedicine experience (comfortable on-camera using video chat).
