**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pain Management Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients who require specialized pain management services. This role involves working closely with patients and healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address a wide range of pain-related conditions. If you are a registered nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** – Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers to manage chronic pain. – Conduct thorough assessments to identify and diagnose pain-related conditions, including acute and chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain. – Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a range of pain management strategies, including pharmacological, non-pharmacological, and interventional therapies. – Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, including proper use of medications, physical therapy, and stress management. – Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care. – Participate in multidisciplinary pain management conferences and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment options. – Perform routine monitoring and assessments to ensure patient safety and to identify any changes in patient condition. – Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment outcomes. – Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care and outcomes. **Qualifications** – Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the position is located. – Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field. – Strong knowledge of pain management principles and practices, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. – Experience working in a pain management setting, such as a pain management clinic or hospital department. – Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine and the care of patients with chronic and terminal illnesses. – Experience with dialysis, ventilation, and other life-sustaining therapies. – Ability to perform specimen collection and processing. – Experience working in a teaching hospital or academic setting. – Experience with DME (durable medical equipment) and the provision of medical devices and supplies to patients. – Excellent communication and teaching skills. – Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients with complex pain management needs.

Pay: $95,288.00 – $102,122.00 per year
