Remote Nurse Practitioner, Pain Management

**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pain Management Nurse to join our dedicated team. This role involves working closely with patients and healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address a wide range of pain-related conditions. If you are a registered nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** – Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers to manage chronic pain. – Conduct thorough assessments to identify and diagnose pain-related conditions, including acute and chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain. – Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a range of pain management strategies, including pharmacological, non-pharmacological, and interventional therapies. – Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, including proper use of medications, physical therapy, and stress management. – Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care. – Participate in multidisciplinary pain management conferences and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment options. – Perform routine monitoring and assessments to ensure patient safety and to identify any changes in patient condition. – Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment outcomes. – Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care and outcomes. **Qualifications** – Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the position is located. – Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field. – Strong knowledge of pain management principles and practices, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. – Experience working in a pain management setting, such as a pain management clinic or hospital department. – Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine and the care of patients with chronic and terminal illnesses. – Experience with dialysis, ventilation, and other life-sustaining therapies. – Ability to perform specimen collection and processing. – Experience working in a teaching hospital or academic setting. – Experience with DME (durable medical equipment) and the provision of medical devices and supplies to patients. – Excellent communication and teaching skills. – Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients with complex pain management needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $95,288.00 – $102,122.00 per year
