About Us

We are a health tech startup conducting an internal research study with IC/BPS patients to develop a structured approach to assessing symptoms, identifying patterns, and mapping patients to the most relevant treatments. Our ultimate goal is to use AI-driven tools to help providers diagnose and monitor patients more effectively.

Currently, we are in the manual pilot phase, working with a small group of patients using validated assessments and symptom tracking to categorize them into health profiles based on symptoms, lifestyle, and treatment responses. This approach will serve as the foundation for future data-driven, scalable solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with expertise in IC/BPS, urology or urogynecology to help refine our assessment process and bridge the clinical knowledge gap.

Role & Responsibilities

Refining patient assessments

  • Review existing assessment tools and identify gaps in symptom evaluation.
  • Ensure that the right questions are asked to capture relevant IC subtypes/phenotypes.

Developing clinical logic for symptom mapping

  • Help establish how responses to assessments should guide further questioning.
  • Assist in categorizing patients based on symptom patterns and potential underlying causes (e.g., histamine intolerance, nervous system dysregulation, pelvic floor dysfunction).

Analyzing patient data and identifying key metrics

  • Review patient-reported symptom data and validated questionnaire responses to determine how different symptoms correlate.
  • Advise on which metrics (e.g., voiding patterns, dietary intake, pain levels) should be tracked for short-term monitoring.
  • Identify patterns and triggers that may be driving symptoms for different patient profiles.

Mapping patients to the most relevant interventions

  • Based on symptom clusters and patient profiles, provide input on which treatments, lifestyle changes, or therapeutic approaches may be most beneficial.
  • Assist in validating the approach with clinical insights before scaling
