Remote Part-Time Nurse Practitioner with Mental Health Experience – Washington

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with mental health experience to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Washington state license and have a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative and evidence-based practices.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.

– Provide therapy and medication management, ensuring the highest standard of care.

– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support for patients.

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

– Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.

– Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

**Technical Requirements:**

– Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum recommended speed of (insert speed, e.g., 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload)

– Ability to use telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. – Familiarity with troubleshooting basic technical issues.

**Office Environment:**

– A private, professional office setting free from distractions and background noise.

– Proper lighting and a neutral background suitable for video consultations.

**Equipment:**

– A computer or tablet with a functional webcam and microphone.

– Headset or earbuds for clear audio communication with patients.

– Backup devices (e.g., smartphone or secondary computer) in case of technical difficulties.

**Compliance and Security:**

– Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality in a virtual environment.

**Professional Experience:**

– Previous experience in telehealth or remote patient care preferred.

– Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients through virtual consultations.

**Qualifications:**

– Current Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State.

– Experience in mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
