Remote Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Utah

Therefore, we’ve built this position to maximize your satisfaction and reduce burnout. This position is highly flexible. The position is remote, allowing you to work from home or on the road. You have the ability to set your own hours within reasonable limits. Your position starts as a part-time position, and you can decide if you’d like for the position to grow to full-time. This is a great “side-hustle” and supplemental “fun” job.

You will be surrounded by experienced clinicians who understand the team environment and are willing to assist you clinically and emotionally. Team members include psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and operation personnel.

Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric setting
– Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health needs
– Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
– Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
– Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
– Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:
– Valid nursing license and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and licensed to practice in Utah
– Proven experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting
– Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems (AdvancedMD) and coding systems (ICD-10)
– Ability to navigate telehealth platforms (Zoom)
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $80.69 – $110.86 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
