Remote Physician Assistant—Primary Care Desktop Medicine
Opportunity
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group seeks a full-time, remote, certified Physician Assistant in Family Medicine
Location: Fully remote (No travel required)
Summary: The Remote Desktop Medicine Physician Assistant is responsible for utilizing their patient care skills and clinical knowledge to deliver asynchronous primary health care to patients through an online portal. The Physician Assistant will practice to the top of their scope in handling patient requests including advice messages, refills, and referral requests. They work as part of a multidisciplinary in-basket support team (MIST) which includes MDs, APCs, RNs, Pharmacists, MAs, and patient service representatives.

Requirements:
- Current California Physician Assistant License (California is NOT a compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Primary Care experience
- EMR proficient, Epic preferred
- Computer proficient
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (DSL or Cable must have a minimum of 5 Mbps upload)
- Full-time hours are from 8:00 am PST – 5:00 pm PST. Please note that PAFMG Operates in Pacific Standard Time (PST)
