POSITION REQUIREMENTS | Education and Experience:
Required: -Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing and must have a master’s degree in a related field. -Active licensed Registered Nurse in good standing and with no practice restrictions -Expertise in the scope and standards of nursing practice -Expertise in subject matter area gained through job experience -Experience in evidence-based research and developing informative and original academic journal writing or original curriculum/presentations -Academic writing experience and strong written and verbal communication skills -Public speaking experience -Excellent understanding of English language, grammar, and punctuation -Experience working effectively and collegially with others -High level of investment and enthusiasm for the program area
Preferred: -Professional certification in other related areas -Experience in coordination of contracts and maintaining relationships with contractors. -Leadership experience -Experience in eLearning course development -Familiarity of ANCC accreditation standards and criteria for CNE |

Position Title: Program Coordinator (Healthcare) & Accredited Provider Program Director (APPD) Location: Phoenix, AZ (remote position) Salary: $85,000 to $90,000 Department/Division: CareerSmart Learning Reports to: Director of Content Development FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt, Remote Position ________________________________________________________________________ General Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of written content for healthcare education programming, in compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation guidelines. Responsible for maintaining accreditation compliance with professional accrediting bodies, state licensing boards, and state and national laws and regulations. Maintain knowledge and expertise in current accreditation standards and guidelines, state and national laws and regulations, and industry trends. Strong understanding of academic writing standards and guidelines. This role is responsible for oversight and coordination over internal processes and outside curriculum developing, respectively. This role is expected to conduct job duties with poise, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
In addition, this role serves as the Accredited Provider Program Director (APPD) for the provider accreditation achieved through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Responsible for understanding ANCC accreditation requirements, ensuring the integrity of applicable educational activities for Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD), and ensuring consistent implementation of ANCC NCPD Accreditation Program criteria. Responsible for ensuring that educational activities are compliant with the most current ANCC Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) Accreditation Program criteria. Responsible for communicating all ANCC criteria and guideline updates and changes to the provider unit; serves as a liaison between ANCC, Nurse Planner(s), Curriculum Development Review Committee (CDRC), and all other team members of the provider unit.

-Current and advanced industry knowledge (healthcare services, managed care, health insurance, continuing education). -Knowledge of the scope and standards of nursing practice. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, specifically). -Knowledge of researching evidence-based and academic resources, synthesizing content, and applying relevant information to existing or new curriculum. -Familiarity with video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, and WebEx. -Open to working with new technologies. -Ability to read and write with excellent understanding of the English language, grammar, and punctuation. -Knowledge of the healthcare educational industry, including understanding of the various methods of delivering educational services to adult learners. -Knowledge of adult learning theories for online learning. -Knowledge and application of CareerSmart practices, policies, protocols, procedures, philosophies, and business and marketing goals. -Ability and willingness to maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers and colleagues. -Basic understanding of CareerSmart customer segments. -Ability to promote the CareerSmart Brand by communicating clearly and enthusiastically about the service/product. -Ability to give highly effective oral presentations. -Trustworthiness in all areas. -Ability to create and develop course curriculum on specific topics. -Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information in course content. -Ability to make sound decisions autonomously. -Ability to travel to attend industry conferences, association meetings, and other marketing events, which may require air and ground travel as well as overnight lodging. -Demonstrated leadership and soft skills in communicating and managing processes and coordinating activities of contractors and colleagues. -Maintain valid credentials and licensures. -Familiarity with CSL’s Mission, Vision, and Values and strategic plan. -Ability to work evenings, weekends, or travel by plane and overnight, as requested. |
