Thrive Mental Health Clinic is committed to providing patient-centered psychiatric care with a holistic and compassionate approach. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help us deliver high-quality telehealth services to our patients.

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing customized care to patients through telehealth. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to manage health problems and maintain continuity of care. This position requires a focus on primary psychiatric care and long-term mental health prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medication, and manage ongoing treatment.

– Perform thorough documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within 24 hours of each patient visit.

– Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans, incorporating holistic care and preventive measures when appropriate.

– Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.

– Consult with a supervising physician for complex cases outside your scope of practice.

– Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

– Valid California Nurse Practitioner license.

– Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

– Minimum of 6 months of experience with medication management, therapy, and holistic approaches to mental health care as a PMHNP.

– Telehealth experience and the ability to provide care remotely.

– Ability to acquire and maintain a DEA number and a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician.

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Tools:

– Reliable internet connection and telehealth equipment (computer, webcam, headset, etc.).

– Knowledge of EHR systems, e-prescribing, and telemedicine technology.

Minimum Requirements:

– Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, with self-directed availability.

– Ability to manage a variety of patients across demographics, considering cultural, social, and environmental factors in treatment plans.

– Willingness to participate in clinic meetings and training as needed.

Compensation:

As a 1099 contractor, you will be compensated per patient visit:

– $100 for Initial Evaluations (60 minutes)

– $75 for Follow-Up Appointments (45 minutes)

– $50 for Short Follow-Up Appointments (30 minutes)
