Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Maine

We are looking for dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our remote group practice The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients of all ages, focusing on mental health assessment, diagnosis, monitoring and treatment. We have both part time and full time positions available.

Duties:

– Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments

– Develop and implement treatment plans

– Prescribe and manage medications

– Provide therapy and counseling to patients

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care

– Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options

– Use telehealth services for remote patient consultations

Qualifications:

– Current Nurse Practitioner license with a psychiatric specialty

– Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing- Certification as a Psychiatric

-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

– Must obtain license reciprocity in Maine if not currently licensed in the state (can be completed during onboarding)

– Experience in medication management and psychiatric care

– Strong understanding of medical records management

– Ability to provide telehealth services for remote patient care
