Full job description

Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric setting
– Administer medications, as prescribed by the physician
– Monitor and assess patients’ physical and mental health status
– Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
– Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
– Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology and anatomy in patient assessments and interventions

Skills:
– Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a psychiatric setting
– Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy
– Familiarity with psychiatric care and ICU settings
– Ability to administer injections safely and accurately
– Excellent medical documentation skills
– Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to psychiatric nursing

Pay: $52.00 – $57.00 per hour
