Remote Registered Nurse (RN) – Remote Pulmonary Care Management (1099 Contractor) – Compact License

Overview

We are seeking a Remote Registered Nurse (RN) to provide Principal Care Management (PCM) services for patients with chronic pulmonary conditions. This 1099 contractor role involves managing a monthly caseload and delivering structured telephonic care while ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned monthly patient caseload of patients with chronic pulmonary conditions
• Conduct scheduled PCM calls and document all encounters
• Follow established workflows and compliance guidelines
• Maintain professional, patient-focused communication

Qualifications

• Active Compact (multi-state) RN license from state of residence (required)
• Experience in Principal Care Management (PCM), Chronic Care Management (CCM), or care coordination preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using healthcare technology and electronic health records
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Requirements

• Ability to work as an independent contractor (1099)
• Professional liability insurance (self-employed, required)
• Dedicated, quiet workspace suitable for patient calls
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Computer or laptop with headset
• Must reside in the United States

Pay Structure

• $13.50 per completed Principal Care Management (PCM) case (approximately 30 minutes per case)
• Equivalent to $27.00 per hour based on average case completion

Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour
