Job Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Director to make a significant impact on substance use treatment and requires minimal hours about 10 per month. We are seeking a Medical Director to oversee our substance use and mental health team and meet the requirements of the Oregon Administrative Rules. The Medical Director will be responsible for providing medical protocols for intake into the program, ensuring critical care standards are met, and review service plans for clients that are in the program for one year or longer. “Medical Director” means a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Oregon and is designated by a substance use disorders treatment program to be responsible for the program’s medical services, either as an employee or through a contract.

– Provide guidance on medical protocols required by the OARs
– Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations
– Implement and manage medical protocols and procedures
– Stay informed on the latest advancements related to substance use disorder


-Licensed Medical Practitioner (LMP)

-Physician licensed to practice in Oregon

-Nurse practitioner licensed to practice in Oregon

-Physician’s assistance licensed to practice in Oregon

Preferred Skills:
– Strong understanding of healthcare systems and operations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $105.00 – $150.00 per hour
