Telehealth Case Manager is responsible for addressing client, patient and/or provider inquiries via email, fax, telephonic, or written correspondence ensuring adherence to contractual and state guidelines as well as client instructions. A key area of focus will be on closing gaps that delay treatment and extend telemedicine cases beyond twelve weeks by processing recommendations from the Medical Director, adjuster, or your manager with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems outside of standard processes.

This position is remote and will report to our call center(s) located in Glen Allen, VA and Phoenix, AZ.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend designated meetings to build rapport with Internal and External Customers.
  • Ongoing reviews to include medical notes, treatment referrals, work status notes, etc., to verify all necessary referral orders and treatment rendered in a timely manner.
  • Data entry of details in our system for internal and external teams to understand updates or the status of orders and requests.
  • Provide quality telephonic and email that includes daily inbound and outbound messages.
  • Research of all daily escalated call concerns received from providers related to delays in treatment.
  • Monitor status of specialist referrals and/or extended treatment cases; make recommendations for action plans to improve management as needed.
  • Provide immediate feedback to providers on specialist treatment status and extended treatment cases upon request.
  • Coordinate with inter-disciplinary teams to assist with coordination, scheduling, management of specialist referrals and/or extended treatment cases.
  • Attend ongoing internal training and learning to ensure updated knowledge of industry and product changes.
  • Requires regular and consistent attendance.
  • Special Reporting on a monthly basis and as needed.
  • Assist Manager with Additional duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE & PREREQUISITE SKILLS:

  • Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office including Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high commitment to accuracy

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Registered Nurse for minimum of 3 years
  • Case Management experience
  • Experience in medical data processing and entry, preferred.
  • Spanish, bilingual preferred

 

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $60,846 – $90,940
