Headlands is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with our mental health and substance treatment program contracts. We are currently hiring for a FT Weekend (F-Sun) Telemedicine Position. The position involves the following:

  • CALIFORNIA LICENSE is REQUIRED for ELIGIBILITY.
  • Candidates who carry current licenses IN ADDITION TO CALIFORNIA in the following states will be FAVORABLY CONSIDERED: TEXAS, COLORADO, ILLINOIS, FLORIDA

This is a position for an experienced mid-level provider who is comfortable managing mental health conditions and low complexity primary care issues. The position is a good fit for someone who is confident in their clinical skills, can work autonomously and independently and is agreeable to a regular evening schedule.

Related to the healthcare area we serve, excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, and flexibility are necessary attributes for success in this position.

This position involves the following:

  • Admissions of new patients via telemedicine and follow up evaluations as needed. Work from home, no travel required.
  • Manage requests from treatment programs related to patient care issues
  • Ability to work entirely from home, no travel required
  • Ongoing supervision/education and support provided by addiction specialist MDs and psychiatrists.
  • We are a cohesive group of addiction specialists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are leaders in providing addiction treatment and mental health care to residential care facilities.

Successful Candidate MUST have the following:

  • NP or PA license in the state of CALIFORNIA.
  • Additional licensure in ONE of the following states: TEXAS, COLORADO, ILLINOIS, FLORIDA
  • Efficient in multi-tasking and managing workflow. Experienced and able to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency with EMR software and electronic communication.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in addiction treatment including withdrawal management
  • Behavioral health experience
  • Proven history of commitment/longevity in previous employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year
