Virtual Psychiatric Care is a growing national telehealth company providing access to quality psychiatric services. We are looking to contract with experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who value their independence and are looking to grow their private practice. Competitive per visit pay with full administrative support. We also guarantee compensation for “No-Show” visits. As a telepsychiatry service owned by an NP and serviced by NPs, you will find VPC to be a supportive environment, putting quality care at the forefront. Looking for experienced NPs licensed in a minimum of 4 or more states.

Requirements for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner-1099 Contractor

● Work from any state. Have an active unencumbered PMHNP license in at least 4 states-Preferred states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IN, IL, KY, KS, KY, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, ND, NE, NM, NJ, LA, NM, PA, NC, OH, OK,OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, WY, and WI.

● Required Education/Certification: MSN; Board-Certification in PMHNP-BC-Across the lifespan.

● Comfortable with prescribing psychotropic medication-Across the lifespan.

● Have an active DEA license

● Maintains own malpractice insurance coverage-1/3mil coverage

● Own collaborating physician preferred

● Knowledgeable in treating anxiety and depression.

● Telehealth experience preferred; Comfortable working independently

● Minimum 1 year psych outpatient/telehealth experience required

● Minimal computer navigation skills – Navigate Basic EMR system

● Own quality computer with video-webcam capabilities; maintain good internet connection.

● Based on your availability

Responsibilities

● Conduct up to 45 minute psychiatric evaluation sessions, remotely, through

HIPAA-compliant video from the comfort of your home

● Conduct 10-15 minute follow-up medication management sessions over

HIPAA-compliant video & telephonic communication
