Remote Virtual Per Diem/Contracted Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse – Massachusetts

About Us:
Calm Centers Counseling LLC is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services to our diverse patient population. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team on a per diem or contract basis. This is a fully remote position, allowing providers to deliver exceptional patient care from the comfort of their own location.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients of varying ages.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations.
• Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic medications.
• Ensure clinical supervision is completed in accordance with State regulations (if applicable).
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
• Engage in virtual client appointments via our secure online platform.
• Conduct collateral/clinical collaboration as needed.
• Maintain schedule to ensure clients can be scheduled by CCC administration.

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or PMHNP with an active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts.
• Board certification in Psychiatry (for Psychiatrists) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (for PMHNPs).
• DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances.
• Experience in outpatient or telepsychiatry settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Malpractice coverage required.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Make your own schedule
• Highest per diem compensation CPT code in the state
• Compensation rate varies and is based on CPT codes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 – $180.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
