Position Details:

• Part-time Weekend NP On-Call
• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm
• Work remotely
• Ability to increase hours over time if interested

Job Functions:

• Primary focus is to help support hospice and palliative care weekend team as needed.
• Manage pain and symptoms, including prescribing medications and adjusting treatment plans if needed.
• Assist with symptom management questions, ensuring comfort and dignity during end-of-life care.
• Respond promptly to hospice emergencies, including sudden changes in a patient’s condition, uncontrolled symptoms, or potential medical crises

Requirements

Experience:

• One year hospice experience strongly preferred.
• One year of pain management or palliative experience preferred.
• One year of Nurse Practitioner experience required.

Credentials:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in State of Indiana.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Current driver’s license.
