Role Description

This is a remote, per diem role for a Women’s Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. The NP is responsible for providing evidenced based mental health care to women, including diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing supportive counseling. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate patient records, and willingness to train in Perinatal Mental Health.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders
• Active New York State RN license
• Active New York State PMHNP license
• Active DEA license
• Written practice agreement with a collaborating physician if less than 3600 hours of experience
• ANCC board certified
