THE JOB AT A GLANCE
You will be working on a team of pioneers to deliver the best possible care to patients each day. You will be part of a remote, but tight knit team working together to continue to push the boundaries of what excellent virtual care is.
You will be offering all types of care (adults + peds), primarily through video visits, but also messaging as well. You will be seeing patients from multiple states, and we will work with you to get you multiple state licenses. You will be at the complete forefront of the fight against coronavirus, working in tandem with our chain of physical clinics that are also testing facilities for coronavirus. You will be working with our own custom built EMR that is completely around our care delivery and will have an opportunity to help improve our technology. You are passionate about virtual care and transformation to a better system in healthcare.

What You’ll Do

    • Virtually evaluate both children and adults for COVID-19 concerns as well as acute care issues through a state of the art model equipping you with in-clinic capabilities. Additionally will provide guidance about primary and longitudinal care primarily through video-based platform
    • Consistently provide a world-class level of quality and patient experience
    • Helping rethink how to deliver the best virtual care and provide feedback as we create new innovative virtual care programs
    • Respond to patient messages and lab results during shift
    • Coordinate care with in clinic support staff, nurses, and external providers
    • Order lab tests and prescribe medications remotely as needed via our custom built EMR
    • Be able to seamlessly blend in-person care with virtual follow-up and vice versa
    • Help triage patients to higher levels of care with excellent, safe hand-offs (Medically appropriate warm hand offs)
    • Be able to work in a care team model with other NPs PAs and MDs

About You

      • Medical/Master’s degree and certification
      • PA – Valid Washington license to practice as a Physician Assistant and current national certification
  – OR –
    • RN – Valid Washington license to practice as a Registered Nurse, NP – Valid Washington license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and current national certification
    • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Washington
    • Maintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted Washington DEA license
    • Availability to work a combination, including some weekends and holiday
    • Ability to consult and treat patients of all ages
    • 3 + years of clinical experience in a physical care setting (Primary Care, ER or Urgent Care)
    • 1+ years or more of experience practicing in a virtual setting (preferred)
    • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
