About the Practice
Brain Body Health Alliance (BBHA) is a small whole-person direct-pay specialty practice in Greenville, SC launching full-time in August 2026 serving patients and families across the Carolinas. The founding physician is a Harvard-trained pediatrician specializing in the treatment of headache, pain, and concussion. We see kids and young adults with headache, concussion, abdominal pain, chronic sports/MSK pains, dysautonomia, ADHD, autism, and mental health disorders. Our patients often don’t fit neatly into a single specialty, and our practice exists to provide the excellence and wrap-around care to help young people beat health adversity and meet their potential.

About this role

We’re hiring **one experienced RN** to run the operational and clinical-support side of the practice alongside the physician founder. You’ll be the first voice patients and parents hear, the person who keeps the schedule honest, and the one who helps protect the kind of care this practice exists to deliver. You’ll play a key role in helping build and refine how this practice runs day-to-day.

This is not a hospital job. The pace is calm, the panel is small (capped well under traditional volumes), and there is no insurance billing department. We work closely as a small team — what you do matters and is visible.

What you’ll do

  • Run the schedule, intake, and front-office workflow (mostly remote)
  • Handle medication and procedure prior authorizations and outside-record coordination
  • Triage patient and parent messages; answer medication and care-navigation questions within RN scope using physician-developed protocols and close support
  • Assist with school-related coordination
  • Assist with in-office procedures (scheduled in advance)
  • Opportunity to grow into a health-coaching role for headache, concussion, and chronic-pain patients after 6 months if you’re interested and willing to obtain additional training (we’ll fund it)

Schedule

  • 20 hours per week during 90-day onboarding and training with gradual increase in hours and responsibilities
  • 28 hours per week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am-1:30pm with some flexibility in daily start/end times by mutual agreement
  • Mostly remote; some in-office work required
  • Daily morning and afternoon touchpoints by phone or message with physician

Pay and benefits

  • $36/hr base
  • Performance bonuses tied to practice growth and patient retention

We do not offer traditional employer health insurance. Candidates need coverage through spouse, ACA marketplace, or other sources.

Ideal Candidate

  • BSN/RN with at least 5 years of experience
  • 2+ years of ambulatory/specialty-clinic or case management/care navigation experience strongly preferred
  • Good with evolving technologies
  • Well organized and with strong internal motivation. You’re the kind of person who naturally creates order where it doesn’t exist yet
  • Desires autonomy and strong inter-professional partnerships with MDs, therapists, counselors, and schools
  • Active SC RN license in good standing, or multi-state Compact license listing SC as home state

Not the right fit if: you’re looking for hospital-pace adrenaline, you need full-time hours and traditional health insurance, or you need a large team around to feel comfortable in the position.
