Duties

• Perform thorough telehealth evaluations of veterans, including medical history review, symptom assessment, and physical examinations via secure video platforms
• Document patient encounters accurately using electronic health record (EHR)
• Conduct specialized assessments
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with valid state certification and DEA registration where applicable
• Proven telehealth experience with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Inpatient/Outpatient platforms
• Skilled in performing physical examinations, medical documentation
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical terminology essential for maintaining high-quality standards in telehealth services
