Remote Regional Quality Measure Specialist (RN) – Missouri

AMA-LTC- is seeking a Regional Quality Measure Specialist to join our team in St. Louis, MO

We’re looking for a skilled clinical professional to serve as a regional subject matter expert in CMS Quality Measures and the Five-Star Quality Rating System. In this role, you’ll partner with MDS teams, facility leadership, and medical providers across a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities to drive measurable quality improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Provide regional oversight of MDS coding as it relates to Quality Measure outcomes
• Monitor CMS Quality Measure reports, CASPER, QIES, and Five-Star data to identify early warning signs
• Develop facility-specific action plans and forecast reimbursement impacts
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, and medical directors on proactive clinical strategies
• Educate staff on how documentation and clinical practice drive Quality Measure performance
• Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance related to quality documentation

Requirements

• Active clinical licensure (RN preferred)
• Associate or Bachelor’s in clinical/healthcare field
• 3–5+ years in skilled nursing or post-acute care
• Hands-on knowledge of MDS 3.0 & Five-Star methodology
• Ability to travel regionally

Preferred

• RAC-CT or RAC-CTA certification
• Multi-facility or regional oversight experience
• Proficiency with CASPER, QIES & Five-Star reports
• Strong physician-engagement skills
