This is a remote position.

OpenLoop is looking for a Registered Nurse Clinical Trainer to join our team remotely. This role will be a member of the Clinical Operations team and report to the Clinical Education Director (NP).

Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct training programs that encompass basic clinical material, process flows, and technology applications for a pool of telemedicine clinicians (NPs, PAs, MDs, and DOs) and RNs. 

  • Work closely with the Clinical Education Director and other members of the Clinical Operations team to streamline clinical onboarding and training processes. 

  • Being available for inbound and outbound communications with the clinician pool in situations where there are questions about basic clinical material, process flows, and technology applications.

  • Conduct outbound calls to patients for post-hospital discharge checks, clinical triage, critical lab result outreach, sexually transmitted infection (STI) result outreach, etc. 

  • Identify areas of process improvements and inefficiencies.

  • Be able and willing to conduct both asynchronous and synchronous patient care outreach. 

  • Ability to effectively foster collaboration and demonstrate a proven ability to provide positive leadership that supports teamwork

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • RN (Registered Nurse) degree required; BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree preferred

  • At a minimum, two (2) years of experience working alongside healthcare professionals including NPs, PAs, MDs, and DOs in a US health system within the past three (3) years or recent relevant experience required

  • At a minimum, two (2) years of experience conducting clinical, process, technology and/or operations training for healthcare professionals including NPs, PAs, MDs, DOs, and RNs in a US health system within the past three (3) years or recent relevant experience required

  • Prior experience in virtual care required

  • Availability to work 5 x 8 hour shifts in a week required

  • Broadly licensed in 20+ states preferred 

  • Computer proficient with EMRs (electronic medical records), Google Suite, Notion, Litmos, Zoho, and virtual communication platforms such as Slack and Zoom

  • Able to quickly adapt to new technologies, such as software and operating systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Team player 

  • Able to quickly pivot as needed in a rapidly growing startup environment
