Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Online Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative telehealth team. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans via telehealth platforms
- Prescribe, monitor, and Ketamine in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling for patients across various age groups, including children and geriatrics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including case management and follow-up support
- Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Educate patients about their mental health conditions, medication side effects, and coping strategies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with certification in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) from an accredited program
- Proven experience in behavioral health, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care preferred
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and EMR/EHR systems
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology, medication administration, and clinical research methodologies
- Ability to perform patient assessments, vital signs measurement, and physical examinations remotely when necessary
- Licensing in either Colorado or Ohio
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient education and support in a virtual setting
Preferred qualifications include experience in telehealth, acute care environments such as ICU or emergency medicine, familiarity with hospital or nursing home settings, proficiency in trauma center protocols, and additional skills in areas like pain management, substance use disorders, or hospice & palliative medicine.
