About SameDayPsych
SameDayPsych is a telehealth psychiatry practice built around one idea: patients should be able to see a psychiatric provider fast, often the same day. We handle the business side, including scheduling, insurance billing, credentialing and patient coordination, so our providers can focus on clinical care.
The Role
We are looking for board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management to adult patients. You will see patients booked directly onto your calendar through our platform, document in our EHR, and work with a support team that takes the administrative load off your plate.
What You Will Do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication management visits via telehealth
- Diagnose and treat common psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder and PTSD
- Prescribe and manage medications through Charm EHR (eRx)
- Complete and sign visit notes in Charm within 48 hours of each visit
- Coordinate patient care with our team through Slack
- Maintain availability on the platform so patients can book with you
Compensation
- 50% of net collections on every billable visit you complete
- Paid monthly, by the 20th of each month for the prior month’s collections
- Monthly earnings statement showing visits documented, claims submitted, collected and your payout
- No billing work on your end. SameDayPsych handles insurance billing, claims, denials, follow-up and patient balances
- Net collections means the amount collected after billing, management and processing fees, and refunds or recoupments
Example earnings: at an average payment of $85 per visit, you would earn about $42.50 per paid visit. At 30 visits per week, that is roughly $5,525 per month or $66,300 per year. At 50 visits per week, roughly $9,208 per month or $110,500 per year. Actual earnings depend on visit volume, payer mix and collections and are not guaranteed.
Free Physician Supervision
If your state requires physician supervision or a collaborative practice agreement, SameDayPsych provides it at no cost to you. No monthly collaboration fees, no searching for a supervising physician on your own. This makes SameDayPsych a strong fit for newer NPs and for NPs licensed in states that require physician oversight.

Requirements
- Active PMHNP-BC certification (ANCC)
- Active, unrestricted NP license in at least one U.S. state (multiple state licenses a plus)
- Active DEA registration with prescriptive authority in your licensed state(s)
- Active NPI number
- Comfort with telehealth and electronic documentation
- Reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace
- Ability to complete notes within 48 hours of each visit
Preferred
- 1+ year of psychiatric NP experience (new graduates welcome to apply; supervision is provided)
- Experience with Charm EHR or similar platforms
- Licensure in multiple states
Pay: $5,000.00 – $10,000.00 per month
