Job Description

Mental Health Virtualist – Psychiatric NP/PA

Park Nicollet Mental Health

FT Remote position

Our Virtualist clinicians play a crucial role in improving access to services within our Mental Health service line, which serves patients across the Twin Cities Metro, Central Minnesota, and Western Wisconsin regions. By offering rapid access to psychiatry through virtual care, our team is committed to providing same-day appointments for individuals in need. In addition to conducting virtual psychiatric evaluations and consultations, this position may include responsibilities such as panel management, electronic consults (e-consults), and supporting in-basket management to ensure seamless continuity of care and timely patient follow-up. By leveraging technology, our Virtualist clinicians help expand access, enhance patient engagement, and support our mission to deliver high-quality behavioral health care remotely – reaching patients wherever they are in these communities.

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in psychiatric practice and have graduated from a specialty fellowship in psychiatric training.  Graduate of an accredited formal physician assistant training program, Minnesota PA license and NCCPA certification or graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal psychiatric nurse practitioner program with Minnesota RN license and APRN license certification.  Candidates must reside in MN, ND, SD, Iowa or WI.

You will be joining a team that is supportive and respectful of one another and deeply committed to the mission of HealthPartners. Here, you’ll become a partner for good, helping to improve the health and well-being of our patients, members and community. Our commitment to excellence, compassion, partnership and integrity is behind everything we do. It’s the type of work that makes a difference, the kind of work you can be proud of. We hope you’ll join us.
