We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our U.S. telehealth clinical team and provide ADHD assessment, treatment, and ongoing medication management to adult patients.

Our current priority states are North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, Hawaii, and Florida. However, we also welcome applications from qualified Nurse Practitioners licensed in other U.S. states as we continue to expand our clinical coverage.

Candidates are not required to hold licenses in all priority states. Applicants only need to meet the licensing and prescribing requirements for the state or states in which they will provide care. Candidates licensed in multiple states are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our U.S. telehealth clinical team and provide ADHD assessment, treatment, and ongoing medication management to adult patients.

We are recruiting clinicians licensed in one or more of the following states: North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, Hawaii, and Florida. Candidates are not required to hold licenses in all seven states. Applicants only need to meet the requirements for the state or states in which they will provide care.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience assessing and treating adult ADHD and be confident in the safe prescribing and monitoring of stimulant and non-stimulant medications, where legally permitted and clinically appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for adult patients presenting with ADHD symptoms
• Review psychiatric, medical, cardiovascular, medication, substance-use, and relevant family history
• Develop individualized, evidence-based ADHD treatment plans
• Initiate, titrate, and monitor stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medications where clinically appropriate
• Conduct ongoing medication-management appointments and follow-up consultations
• Monitor treatment response, adverse effects, vital signs, cardiovascular risk factors, medication adherence, and substance-use risk
• Review the applicable state Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP/PMP) before prescribing when required
• Identify psychiatric and medical comorbidities and refer or escalate patients when appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation
• Comply with applicable federal and state requirements for telehealth and controlled-substance prescribing
• Participate in clinical governance, chart review, peer consultation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities
• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a remote environment

General Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN and NP/APRN license valid in at least one of the listed states
• Current national Nurse Practitioner certification appropriate to the candidate’s specialty and adult patient population
• Active state prescriptive authority
• Active DEA registration authorizing the applicable controlled-substance schedules
• Active registration with and access to the applicable state PDMP/PMP
• Ability to use compliant Electronic Prescribing for Controlled Substances (EPCS)
• Demonstrated clinical experience assessing and/or treating adult ADHD
• Experience safely prescribing and monitoring controlled medications
• Strong understanding of stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD pharmacotherapy
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular risk, psychiatric comorbidity, substance-use risk, and controlled-substance prescribing
• Comfortable providing assessment and medication management through telehealth
• Excellent clinical documentation and patient-communication skills

State-Specific Requirements

North Carolina

• Active and unrestricted North Carolina RN license or qualifying multistate RN privilege
• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner registration and Approval to Practice
• Active Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) with a primary supervising physician licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board, or the ability to establish one before providing care
• CPA must cover the proposed telehealth ADHD services and applicable Schedule II–V controlled-substance prescribing
• Supervising physician must hold equivalent DEA authority for any controlled substances prescribed by the Nurse Practitioner
• Active registration with and access to the North Carolina Controlled Substances Reporting System (NC CSRS)

Ohio

• Active and unrestricted Ohio RN and APRN license with Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) designation
• Active Ohio prescriptive authority, including authority to prescribe applicable Schedule II controlled substances within the candidate’s scope of practice
• Written Standard Care Arrangement (SCA) with an appropriately qualified collaborating Ohio physician, or the ability to establish one before providing care
• SCA must cover the proposed telehealth ADHD services, prescriptive practice, physician consultation, patient referrals, emergency coverage, and quality-assurance process
• Eligibility to prescribe Schedule II medications from a practice setting permitted by Ohio law
• Schedule II prescriptions may not be issued from a legally defined convenience care clinic
• Active registration with and access to the Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System (OARRS)

South Carolina

• Active and unrestricted South Carolina RN and APRN license
• Active South Carolina prescriptive authority
• Written Practice Agreement with an appropriately qualified physician or medical staff authorized under South Carolina law, or the ability to establish one before providing care
• Practice Agreement must cover the proposed telehealth ADHD services and expressly include any Schedule II non-narcotic stimulant prescribing to be performed
• Ability to satisfy any South Carolina Board approval or in-person evaluation requirement applicable when the clinician-patient relationship is established solely through telemedicine
• Active registration with and access to the South Carolina Reporting & Identification Prescription Tracking System (SCRIPTS)

Virginia

• Active and unrestricted Virginia RN and Nurse Practitioner/APRN license
• Active Virginia prescriptive authority covering the applicable Schedule II–VI medications
• Virginia autonomous-practice approval, or a written Patient Care Team Practice Agreement with an appropriately qualified Virginia-licensed physician before providing care
• If practicing under a Patient Care Team Practice Agreement, the agreement must cover the proposed telehealth ADHD services, controlled-substance prescribing, physician availability, patient referrals, emergencies, and periodic chart review
• Active registration with and access to the Virginia Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)

Washington

• Active and unrestricted Washington Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license
• Active Washington RN license or qualifying multistate RN license meeting Washington ARNP requirements
• Active Washington prescriptive authority
• Active DEA registration authorizing Schedule II–V controlled substances, including applicable narcotic and non-narcotic schedules
• Active registration with and access to the Washington Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
• Must be able to provide care independently within the candidate’s licensed specialty and population focus

Hawaii

• Active and unrestricted Hawaii RN and APRN licenses
• Active Hawaii APRN prescriptive authority for controlled and non-controlled substances
• Active Hawaii controlled-substance registration through the state Narcotics Enforcement Division (NED)
• Active DEA registration authorizing the applicable controlled-substance schedules
• Active registration with and access to the Hawaii Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)
• Must provide care and prescribe within the candidate’s licensed specialty and population focus

Florida

• Active and unrestricted Florida RN and APRN license
• Current PMHNP-BC certification
• Must qualify as a “psychiatric nurse” under applicable Florida law
• Active Florida prescriptive authority
• Written supervisory protocol with a Florida-licensed psychiatrist covering the proposed telehealth ADHD services and the prescribing of psychiatric controlled substances, or the ability to establish the required protocol before providing care
• Active registration with and access to the Florida Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (E-FORCSE)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMHNP-BC certification, except where already required by applicable state law
• 2+ years of ADHD, psychiatry, behavioral-health, or relevant primary-care experience
• Significant experience assessing and managing adult ADHD
• Previous telepsychiatry or telehealth experience
• Experience prescribing and monitoring stimulant medications
• Experience working under applicable physician collaboration, practice-agreement, or supervisory-protocol requirements
• Licensure and prescribing authority in more than one of the listed states
