Job Title: PRN Telehealth Nurse Practitioner – FNP, CNP, AGANP
Location: Remote (Telehealth)
Schedule:
- Shifts are scheduled in 6 hour blocks; 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts available.
- Hour Requirement: 50-80 HOURS/MONTH. Full-time options available.
- Preferred Licensure: OH, IN, WV, VA, MD, and KY. Two required, company covers expenses for additional licensure acquired.
- Must be able to commit to 2 weekend shifts per month and supporting major holidays as needed.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Family Medicine or Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner to join our PRN telehealth team. This role is ideal for a dedicated provider who wants to make a meaningful impact serving underserved populations while working remotely in a flexible schedule.
As a PRN Telehealth Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting virtual patient visits, assessing symptoms, and creating thoughtful, effective care plans. Strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation, and clear communication are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth care to patients of multiple settings through the NeverAlone program; AGANP serving underserved populations in LTC, and FNP/CNP serving patients of all ages in diverse settings.
- Perform thorough assessments and determine the best plan of care
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all encounters
- Collaborate with care teams to support continuity of care
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered service to underserved communities
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in two of the following states: Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky
- Company will cover expenses for any additional state licenses needed
- DEA license required
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Adult/Gerontology or Family NP certification
- Experience in acute, post-acute, nursing home, or palliative care settings strongly preferred
- Strong ability to interpret patient symptoms and apply best practices in treatment
- Mission-driven, empathetic, and committed to serving vulnerable populations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
