Telehealth Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant — Weight Management – Compact License

About the opportunity

HolaVida Health is seeking licensed Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants interested in delivering personalized virtual weight management care.

We welcome clinicians at different stages of their careers, including those currently in independent practice. Our model combines clinical autonomy with an integrated EMR and operational support. During introductory conversations, we’ll discuss your clinical interests, availability, and practice goals to determine whether there’s a mutual fit.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through virtual consultations.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based weight management treatment plans.
• Independently assess medication appropriateness and prescribe within your authorized scope.
• Monitor treatment response, side effects, and patient progress.
• Document care in HolaVida’s EMR.
• Coordinate follow-up with our clinical and care navigation teams.

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the applicable states.
• Current professional certification.
• Current authority to prescribe medications in each state where you will treat patients, including any required collaborative or supervisory arrangements.
• Ability to manage medication treatment, including initiating, adjusting, and discontinuing prescriptions when clinically appropriate.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfort using telehealth technology and electronic health records.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in weight management, obesity medicine, or metabolic health.
• Experience prescribing and managing GLP-1 therapies.
• Licensure in multiple states.
