About the job
About the Role
We are seeking multiple compassionate, experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our growing telehealth platform serving primarily geriatric patients — and we’re ready to hire now. These are 1099 independent contractor opportunities offering flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults — all from the comfort of your home office.
If you thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment, genuinely enjoy working with aging populations, and want the freedom of a contract-based practice model, we’d love to connect with you. Qualified candidates can expect a streamlined onboarding process and the ability to start seeing patients quickly.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth visits for patients, including new patient evaluations, follow-ups, chronic disease management, and medication management
- Collaborate with care teams, specialists, and patient families to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Document clinical encounters accurately and in a timely manner within our telehealth platform’s EHR system
- Identify and escalate urgent or complex cases appropriately
- Maintain compliance with state-specific telehealth regulations and prescribing guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Active, unrestricted licensure in the State of New York (required)
- Licensure in additional states is a strong plus — the more, the better!
- Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience, with preference for experience in geriatrics, primary care, internal medicine, or long-term care
- Comfortable with telemedicine platforms and EHR documentation
- Strong communication skills — particularly the ability to connect with elderly patients and their caregivers
- DEA registration preferred
- Active malpractice/professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
