Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Nurse Practitioner at Integrated Wellness & Longevity. The Nurse Practitioner will conduct virtual patient consultations, perform comprehensive health assessments, and develop individualized wellness and longevity plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, prescribing or adjusting treatments within scope of practice, and providing education on lifestyle, nutrition, and preventive care. The role involves documenting encounters in electronic health records, collaborating with other clinical team members, and following evidence-based protocols for chronic disease management and risk reduction. The Nurse Practitioner will also support follow-up care, monitor patient progress, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and national certification (e.g., FNP, ANP, AGNP) in good standing
- Clinical experience in primary care, integrative medicine, functional medicine, or wellness-focused practice
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills, with commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote patient education and counseling
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a remote caseload, and maintain organized, accurate documentation
- Interest in lifestyle medicine, nutrition, exercise, stress management, and healthy aging strategies
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations and maintaining inclusive, non-discriminatory care practices
