Position Overview:

Degree Wellness is hiring a part-time Remote Nurse Practitioner to help answer questions and provide support for our on-site clinicians administering vitamin IVs and IMs. This role is on-call each weekend, Sat and Sun (10am-8pm ET), working virtually with our on-site locations as needed. The pay listed is for all hours on call, whether actively working or not.

This role is perfect for an autonomous, detail-oriented NP who thrives in a technology-enabled environment and enjoys mentoring clinical support staff

In this role, you will work virtual, providing on-call support to on-site clinicians who are administering vitamin/amino acid IV infusions and IM injections. There are no other medical services performed (ie, no aesthetic injections or HRT). Leveraging your general clinical knowledge, you will answer any questions that the on-site team may have about the IV/IM administration, provide real-time telehealth consultations, perform virtual good faith exams as needed, ensure compliance with state telemedicine rules, and champion best-in-class patient safety. This is an ideal role for a caring, thoughtful midlevel clinician who thrives in an autonomous environment, and would experience joy helping patients feel their best, while working in a part-time capacity from the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor charting for completeness, contraindications, and dosage accuracy; perform monthly chart audits
• Provide real-time video consults for escalated cases or questions from on-site IV Technicians
• Conduct virtual good faith exams and give standing, patient-specific, or protocol orders for IV infusions, booster injections, and NAD+ therapies
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and state telehealth regulations; assist with state board renewals and audits
• Document all encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Deliver remote education sessions on venipuncture best practices, emergency response, and pharmacology updates
• Offer feedback to IV Technicians and local managers to improve patient experience and safety metrics
• Maintain active NP licensure in assigned states, obtaining new licenses as needed (licensing fees reimbursed)

Required Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and APRN certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience in IV therapy, infusion centers, urgent care, or integrative/functional medicine
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic prescribing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to educate non-clinicians clearly
• Currently licensed NP in FL, GA, IN, NC, TX and UT
• Ability to secure and maintain additional state NP licenses as needed
