Role overview

As a Physician Assistant at Joyous.team, you will deliver data-informed mental health care to patients struggling with depression and PTSD. Moving beyond traditional episodic visits, you will conduct video consultations and monitor patient-reported daily survey data to make protocol-aligned prescribing decisions, managing your own panel within a flexible, 100% remote framework.

What you will do

  • Conduct high-quality video consultations with new and returning patients to establish and adjust personalized mental health treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient-reported daily check-in trends asynchronously to make precise, protocol-aligned dose adjustments for depression and anxiety treatments.
  • Collaborate closely with the medical director and supervising physicians to provide coordinated, high-standard care for complex behavioral health cases.

Who this is a fit for

  • Holds an active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license with a strong preference for Compact PA license holders or those with multi-state coverage in CA, FL, TX, and NY.
  • Possesses active DEA registration and a graduate degree from an ARC-PA accredited program with current NCCPA certification (PA-C).
  • Brings prescribing experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or primary care, coupled with a high level of comfort using digital health and EHR tools.

Why this role is remarkable

  • Join a pioneer in modern mental health that has already scaled to treat over 90,000 patients with a specialized, evidence-based low-dose ketamine protocol.
  • Enjoy ultimate flexibility with a 100% remote model that allows you to structure full-time or part-time schedules around your existing life commitments.
  • Practice data-driven medicine where your clinical decisions are guided by real-time patient survey data rather than relying solely on 50-minute episodic visits.
