At Safe Hearts Integrated Mental Health, we believe that many of the symptoms people struggle with today are adaptive responses to childhood experiences, unhealthy relationship patterns, and other forms of trauma.
Whether someone is living with anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship/childhood trauma, chronic stress or substance use, we look beyond the symptoms to understand the experiences that shaped them, and the nervous system that has carried them.
We believe healing begins by understanding what happened, not just treating the symptoms. Our work combines compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based, trauma-informed care with a focus on nervous system regulation and mind-body healing.
Safe Hearts provides both psychotherapy and psychiatric services, and we value PMHNPs who see therapy as an essential part of high-quality mental health care. We believe medication is most effective when it’s integrated with psychotherapy, nervous system regulation, and whole-person care, not used as a standalone solution.
As a result, both medication management and psychotherapy are central to our clinical model.
We welcome PMHNPs who are excited to develop their therapy skills and provide the support to do so through structured onboarding, supervision, and ongoing clinical coaching.
Together, we help clients process the past, build healthier relationships, and create lasting change so they can live lives that feel safer, calmer, and more connected.
