Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients across age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans.
• Develop individualized care plans that incorporate psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle interventions to promote mental well-being.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, social workers, and other specialists to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
• Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care for remote or underserved populations.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in psychopharmacology, behavioral health practices, and relevant legal regulations such as HIPAA and Workers’ Compensation law.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in FL, MA, AZ, CO, WA, OR, NV, with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Demonstrated experience in behavioral health settings with proficiency in patient assessment and medication management.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems including Simple Practice, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong understanding of pharmacology related to psychotropic medications and psychopharmacology principles.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to patient education and case management.
