Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health conditions, providing therapeutic care, prescribing medications, monitoring treatment plans, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role also involves educating patients and their families on mental health management and support options.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mental Health Nursing and Nursing with the ability to provide high-quality care to patients
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Mental Health Care
• Proficiency in providing Psychiatric Care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Ability to operate independently in a remote telehealth environment with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Current and valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) focus
• Experience in telepsychiatry is a plus
