We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and behavioral assessments, utilizing EMR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DEA guidelines, ensuring safe and effective pharmacological treatment.
- Develop individualized care plans that incorporate psychopharmacology, therapy options, and lifestyle modifications tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies.
- Provide telehealth consultations for patients with behavioral health concerns, including crisis intervention and triage services.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), maintaining compliance with healthcare documentation standards.
- Engage in ongoing clinical research and professional development to stay current with advances in psychiatric treatments such as botulinum toxin treatment and esthetic laser procedures when applicable.
Experience
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in psychiatric mental health nursing (PMHNP).
- Proven experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in outpatient or inpatient settings, preferably within telehealth environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in medication management, including psychopharmacology and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Experience working with diverse populations such as children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; telehealth platforms; and medical documentation standards.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws including HIPAA regulations and Workers’ Compensation law is essential.
- Prior experience in behavioral health settings involving acute pain management, crisis triage, or hospital medicine is advantageous.

Pay: $110,219.96 – $132,738.02 per year
