Experience
- 3+ years of direct patient care in an acute care/hospital setting (required)
- 1+ year of remote telephonic triage in an acute care setting
- (required)
- Proven experience in high-acuity settings such as:
- Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Travel Nursing with ER/ICU rotations
- Experience managing both pediatric and adult patient populations
- Comfortable handling crisis calls and making quick, informed clinical decisions
- Familiarity with EMRs and ability to document effectively and efficiently in a remote
- environment

Licensure Requirements
- Active Compact or (PA) License required
- Must reside in the U.S. (excluding CA)
Tools & Equipment Provided
- Laptop, headset, keyboard, and dual monitors provided
- 1–3 days of shadowing for training and orientation with a tenured nurse
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage inbound triage call queue
- Provide clinical assessments, education, and guidance based on protocols
- Help determine next steps for care (e.g., ER visit, urgent care, medication refills,
- etc.)
- Educate patients on disease management and risk reduction
- Accurately document all patient interactions in the EMR
- Participate in quality improvement and ensure high standards of care are met
- Support low call volume with no strict metrics other than patient
- satisfaction and quality of care
