Our providers develop individualized plans of care that address each diagnosis while incorporating alternative treatment approaches and solutions whenever appropriate.
Role Description
This is a full-time/part time remote position, with a hybrid work arrangement available as an option in Virginia office.
The position initially starts as a 1099 contractor role, with an opportunity to transition to W-2 employment within a few months based on your commitment to patient care, work ethic, clinical knowledge, and overall fit with our practice. New evaluation appointments are 60 minutes and follow up sessions are 30 minutes. We allow one (1) hour for the administrative time a day.
We offer a life-balanced work schedule designed to support both professional growth and personal well-being. In addition to clinical work, we compensate for administrative time and participation in weekly professional development meetings with an MD.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining thorough clinical documentation to ensure quality care. We have a highly skilled and dedicated operations team that handles all administrative tasks, including paperwork, scheduling, pharmacy coordination, and communication with primary care providers (PCPs). This allows you to focus exclusively on what matters most: delivering exceptional clinical care to your patients. We foster a collaborative clinical environment with ongoing support from an experienced physician (MD). Providers participate in regular learning sessions, case reviews, and weekly meetings with fellow nurse practitioners to discuss clinical cases, share best practices, and enhance patient care through peer collaboration.
