Remote Women’s Health Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – NJ/PA Licensed Required

Role Description

This is a full-time (W2) or part-time (1099)remote role for a Women’s Health Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in NJ and PA, with preference for additional IN and KY licenses. The practitioner will provide specialized psychiatric care and support, conduct patient assessments, create individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Daily tasks include evaluating and diagnosing mental health conditions, and prescribing medications in the women’s health setting.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for providing direct primary behavioral health care to patients including history taking, evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients
• Establish medical diagnosis for common short-term or chronic behavioral health problems
• Prescribe medication as necessary and appropriate in accordance with state and federal laws
• Perform therapeutic and corrective measures – patient education
• Evaluate, diagnose, manage, and treat conditions; seeking consultation as deemed necessary
• Ensure the completion of all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations

Qualifications

• PMHNP with DEA
• Must be able to practice and prescribe in the state of assignment(s)
• Knowledge of women’s mental health issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in tele-health is a plus
• Licensure in NJ/PA required, IN and KY preferred
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (PMHNP)
• Comfortable with various types of technology
• Must be able to provide workspace at home that is suitable for work and have access to broadband internet
